As you probably read earlier, Google made payment to my closed bank account and for sometime there was no hope for me as I thought my money was lost forever…

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that my account was re-credited with the payment. So, there is hope for all the guys waiting for their money after all. Goodluck!

Just finished a phone call with my old bank, the bank-lady told me that they manage a “problems” account, holding all the rejected payments of closed accounts reason. It’s too late now so she can’t tell if my money is there and what is the procedure to get it but she did tell me that if I call 2morrow morning, they might help me. I’ll update when I get a better answer. I’m optimistic. :)

**update** Talked to my bank and according to what they say, the payment had been returned to citibank… I’ll wait a few days and hope it reappears in my adsense account.

After closing the market-like site where I sold my goods, we took off to a short vacation in Greece and started my first year in the University studying Biotechnology. As my high-school final exams included only low math and no physics or chemistry, I decided to establish a web based forum (managed by myself, of course) in which I’ll find people to help me with my studies. The establishment day was the day we started school and I presented the address in-front of everybody, success was immediate.

Since my local hosting service was terrible and expensive, I started to look for a substitute and found Dreamhost.com a convenient and cheap enough host. I paid 90$ for two years using a coupon I found online and in the same breath added some adsense ads to my forum. 4 months later I got the first check for 100$. So far, just a little over one year later, I was paid 200$ and 50$ are already earned for my next payment.

 It’s pretty easy to make a little cash from Students forums. Everybody wants to learn and the Internet is a great place to find links to questions and tests. It’s important to precipitate in the forum and be active (provide links and learning material such as scans), none of it will work if you wont.
