The main idea was to offer a scanning service in which I was going to scan people’s old photographs and by that way help preserve history and protect peoples memories from getting ruined, flooded or eaten by their dog. A truly novel intention. Well… nobody really called or e-mailed me for that service… actually, some people did contact me about the offered service but didn’t hear from them again after the first email.

One would say: “the requested prices were high” or “you didn’t answer their emails on time”… well, the pricing was totally reasonable and I was super polite and quick on the emails! What was the problem then?

I can’t really tell what was the problem because I moved on so fast…. until today I sometimes get emails concerning my scanning service (although the site is down for at least one and a half year! God knows how they keep finding me!) and still, after the first email, they are gone. I can only guess people cant really see the need of the service…

The funniest part (or saddest, depends how you look at it) was that most of my old pictures were flooded, just after I closed the site…. (most of them saved) and no, I didn’t scan it….. :)
