As my high-school final exams included only low math and no physics or chemistry, I decided to establish a web based forum (managed by myself, of course) in which I’ll find people to help me with my studies. The establishment day was the day we started school and I presented the address in-front of everybody, success was immediate.

Since my local hosting service was terrible and expensive, I started to look for a substitute and found Dreamhost.com a convenient and cheap enough host. I paid 90$ for two years using a coupon I found online and in the same breath added some adsense ads to my forum. 4 months later I got the first check for 100$. So far, just a little over one year later, I was paid 200$ and 50$ are already earned for my next payment.

 It’s pretty easy to make a little cash from Students forums. Everybody wants to learn and the Internet is a great place to find links to questions and tests. It’s important to precipitate in the forum and be active (provide links and learning material such as scans), none of it will work if you wont.

Secret of success: Timing, active precipitation.
